Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue: a tribute to the Tudor Submariner.

For those of us involved in the watch world, the annual excitement over the new releases fills our imaginations of what could be. Particularly with TUDOR, whose novelties are without fail daring, exciting and incredibly desirable.

It is with great delight that we can announce TUDOR have released a new timepiece, the TUDOR Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue.

Since its release in 2018, the Black Bay Fifty-Eight in the original black dial and bezel has been one of the most desired models in the TUDOR collection and this remains true today. Its perfect proportions, overall versatility and incredible value for money is unparalleled. Manufacturing an entire range of the highest quality watches at an accessible price is exactly what TUDOR have offered watch collectors for many years.

Like its predecessor, the new TUDOR Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue offers the 39mm case, a size that has proven to be a huge success. This new version also boasts a 70-hour power reserve, COSC certified precision and of course, it is waterproof to 200 meters. This last feature pays homage to the 1958 TUDOR Oyster Prince Submariner, the first watch to be waterproof to 200 metres.

The proportions of this watch are very well balanced and its features replicate those of a watch made in the late 1950s, even down to the rivet steel bracelet. In addition to the steel bracelet, the new TUDOR Black Bay Fifty-Eight Navy Blue is available on a blue jacquard fabric strap or with an all-new “soft touch” strap with contrast stitching. This new strap has impressive aesthetics and the comfort to match.

This new blue model is set to be one of the most desirable models in the current line up from TUDOR. Blue is often the most popular colour choice of watch, for example the TUDOR Pelagos, and this watch will surely follow suit. The shade of blue specifically chosen for the dial and bezel are evocative of the original TUDOR Oyster Prince Submariner’s, which shared the same colour scheme.
